My current exhibition Evolution, at Frey in Hawthorn, includes fluid abstract works inspired by my recent trips to remote communities, secluded gorges and homesteads in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Sam Iurada x FREY
‘Evolution’ is an exciting display of local artistry and creativity that features 18 new pieces inspired by Sam’s experiences this year in remote communities, secluded gorges and homesteads in the Kimberly region of Western Australia.
Sam’s love for the Australian landscape is evident through the exhibition which is stunningly showcased amongst FREY’s range of bespoke furnishings and homewares. Featuring rich shades of purple, blue and red with Sam’s signature abstract style, this collection is a more refined and mature look for Sam hence the title of this exhibition ‘Evolution’.
Sam Iurada x Grace and James Candle Co.
Created alongside local Melbourne visual artist, Sam Iurada, Green Sea captures the essence of Sam’s creative story telling through scent. Taking cues from the elements of the underwater landscape and marine environment that inspires.

Constantly inspired by travels and experience’s in growing up in remote Victoria and then living on a boat on the GBR, she regularly considers her relationship with nature and how her artwork sits with it.
